For our European marketing operations, we are looking for a
Marketing Intern (m/f)
with Programming knowledge in C and Java
to undertake a 4 to 6 month practical internship starting early summer 2010. The internship will encompass various projects to support the marketing and communication activities IT wise at Werner & Mertz in Mainz. The focus of the internship will be the acquiring of skills in effective brand and product marketing in strategic and operative dimensions geared to the needs of the respective brands and their target groups by developing specific electronic applications and platforms for interaction and communication with consumers.
The prerequisites for candidates are at least 2 years of university studies in marketing or comparable economic background and a very good command of German and English. Furthermore a high interest in programming topics, documented by matching studies or personal achievements is essential. Analytic and conceptual thinking combined with the interest in a career development in Europe and corresponding experience abroad would be of advantage.
The possibility to flank this internship with a corresponding diploma thesis is given.

Produktentwickler/in für Küchen- und Wäschehygiene
Ihre Aufgaben:
- Entwicklung neuer Produkte für Küchen-/Wäschehygiene und Körperpflege
- Weiterentwicklung von Systemanwendungen (Chemie / Dosieranlagen)
- Durchführung von spezifischen Versuchsreihen
- Anwendungstechnische Beratung
Ihr Profil:
- Abgeschlossenes Studium als Chemie-Ingenieur oder Chemotechniker bevorzugt mit Praxiserfahrung
- Anwendungsrelevante Erfahrung im Bereich Waschmitteln
- Verhandlungssichere Englisch-Kenntnisse - notwendig
- Ausbaufähige Französisch-Kenntnisse - wünschenswert
