Superbrand - Expert Prize
A super brand is a brand with an excellent reputation and high market value with an impressive quality, consistency and customer loyalty even in economically difficult times.
For over 12 years, Superbrands has been honouring and awarding the best and strongest product and corporate brands in now over 80 countries. This process does not only involve a “ranking” of the brands but rather a unique way to emphasize and honour outstanding brands, their success and achievements in the respective countries.
Independent economic experts of the Superbrands organization nominate exceptional products and corporate brands of a country in a in-depth pre-selection process and products are then evaluated by an independent jury.
Evaluation criteria include: brand dominance, customer loyalty, goodwill as well as longevity and overall brand acceptance.
Of some 1,000 nominees only those brands with an excellent ranking in the evaluation by the jury can participate in the project (usually the TOP 100 in a country).

Brand Sward - Frosch Oasis
In 2001 the marketing magazine absatzwirtschaft - Zeitschrift für Marketing (Magazine for Marketing) and the German Marketing Association (DMV) originated the brand award for excellent services in brand management.
In March 2008, this prize was awarded for the eight time. The award comprises three categories: Best New Brand, Best Brand Stretching, and Best Brand Relaunch.
Three finalists are selected in each category by means of an extensive application process, and a jury chooses the winner. The annual competition for the brand award is intended to promote brand ideas and bring best practice examples to the attention of experts.

Frosch - Product of the Year - Consumer Prize
To determine the "Product of the Year”, the magazine "LEBENSMITTEL PRAXIS" (Food in Practice) and the Dusseldorf research institute “Innofact AG” conducted a comprehensive research that is representative for Germany. The panel consists of 300,000 registered participants that have signed up for market research studies.
The identity of each participant is reviewed to avoid potential double participation. Consumers and users aged 18 to 65 were questioned. The questionnaire comprised some 370 new products from 40 product groups. Every tester reviewed 15 product groups, chose a winner, and awarded a gold, silver or bronze medal.
